Letter to the editor: We need real presidential leadership
When any political party attempts to elect/reelect to president a candidate that to me is visibly cognitively impaired (based on special counsel’s findings), that party has lost value to our America. The bottom line of that counsel’s remarks — President Biden should not hold a security clearance.
His recent State of the Union speech was presented in a highly volatile manner, using anger more than explanation when speaking at us. Ironically, I believe he is demonstrating behaviors of cognitive decline that are associated with dementia/Alzheimer’s disease: poor judgment and diminished problem-solving, changes in mood or easily upset, physical decline, confusion and difficulty finding the right words.
Unfortunately, those behaviors have become evident: long-term poor judgment was unlawfully keeping national secrets in his home and garage when he was senator and vice president. He has exhibited weakness to our adversaries and failed to secure our borders. There was also the failure in Afghanistan.
Problem-solving: He has attempted to cure climate issues by reducing access to America’s energy resources. In my opinion, this has led to our extreme continuous inflation that has hurt the disabled, elderly and poor while doubling interest/mortgage rates.
Why would his political party continue to uplift Biden now? I think it is because they want him to stay in power while planning to elevate the vice president to president in 2025 when necessary. Meanwhile, Biden’s DOJ assaults his election adversary who is a strong cognitive leader and not subject to political deep state actors.
Remember, presidential qualities of leadership fuel America’s future!
