I am so sick and tired of politics. Mitch McConnell and other Republicans opposing $2,000 checks handed the Democrats a win in Georgia. Average people need the money!

I would be ashamed to be a member of either party. That’s why I am an independent.

Career politicians are ruining our country. People like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, McConnell, Steny Hoyer and many others should have been out of Congress long ago. Fresh faces with fresh new ideas are needed desperately instead of the longtime traditions of Washington.

Frankly, it is a joke that Joe Biden won. President Trump did it to himself with his huge ego, constantly praising himself for a terrific job and ignoring the serious pandemic. I think he actually accomplished more than the past four presidents combined, but voters were tired of his personality, especially the boasting. I was raised with this in mind: You don’t have to tell people how much money you have, or that you have been successful; the type of person you are will indicate that.

I believe socialism is a definite to happen, and I wonder who the Democrats will blame when it fails (and it will) when Trump isn’t around anymore. If you think it is bad now, wait until our country is in ruins from socialism.
