Letter to the editor: When will it be enough?

I have had it! Republicans, Democrats, independents and nonvoters — have we not had enough yet?

President Trump and his minions are not just hunting illegal immigrants.

The administration is grabbing everyone by the pocketbook. Ballrooms, 250-foot arches, suing the IRS, ICE … who do you think is paying for all of this? The money comes from you and I, not the rich guy with tax breaks, a fat stock portfolio and an ever-rising 401(k).

Where are all the “don’t tread on me” flag fliers? Have you reached your limit yet? While the White House dangles the immigration carrot in front of our noses as a distraction, the cost of living is unsustainable for regular people, job numbers are at a five-year low and the groundwork to take over voting is being implemented.

I am not submitting my opinion to try and make you do something. I am merely asking you to think. Think about then and now. Think about what your future looked like then and what it looks like now. Think about European countries laughing at the U.S. Think about a photo of Putin hanging in the White House … our house! Think about the three pounds of ground meat in the freezer with a $21 price tag on it.

Think about where and how we go from here. Think about what we can do to really make America great again and right the wrongs being committed every day by the White House.
