Letter to the editor: Why so angry?

The authors of recent letters to the editor are obviously the malcontents of our current elected government.

What are they truly angry about? It couldn’t be that President Biden picked up the ball that the previous administration dropped in reference to the covid-19 pandemic. It couldn’t be his persistent attempts at bipartisan legislation. It couldn’t be the unemployment rate; it is at its lowest rate in years.

Does learning about racism mean you are being told you are racist? It is the acknowledgment of disparities between races and the desire to be inclusive; because we are all human. If we don’t acknowledge the past, how can we make our future better?

Are there people telling you that you have to be gay or you have to have an abortion, or you can’t practice being a Christian? No. Because these come under the purview of civil rights, to which we are all entitled.

So why are you so angry?
