Letter to the editor: Why the bias toward Republicans?

When Hillary Clinton was secretary of State under President Barack Obama, she had a classified computer server stored in an old bathroom closet in a networking company’s offices. That server contained countless classified e-mails and other documents. She also used nonsecure cellphones for classified conversations. She had information on the servers erased so that they were irrecoverable, and she had her cellphones physically destroyed.

So now we have Donald Trump, who reportedly had classified documents stored at Mar-A-Lago. As president, he had the ultimate authority to classify or declassify any document, at his discretion. Did he declassify these documents? We do not know that yet. But we do know that Clinton destroyed information; Trump did not. To me, this says she had something to hide, and he did not.

She and her husband also benefitted from the sale of approximately 20% of our uranium assets to the Russians. “Russian collusion,” perhaps?

As a steppingstone to her position as secretary of State, she moved to New York, ran for and won a seat as U.S. senator. This is no different than what Dr. Oz is doing. Where was the outrage for her conduct?

Also, people may be surprised as to how many senators and representatives have dual citizenship with other nations compromising our national security.
