Letter-writer Edward Svitek (“Biden’s job to restore our dignity” (June 10, TribLIVE) reminds me of my departed grandmother (RIP, Grandma): They both hate/hated Republicans with a passion, but can’t/couldn’t present a valid true reason why. That’s why many years ago I registered as an independent, considering both sides of a subject.

I believe there is good in everybody. I don’t think that’s so with Democrats; if you don’t think like them, you are considered in unprintable terms.

So much hate is consuming our country, evidenced by comments from such letter-writers. President Biden is only a figurehead, and sometimes doesn’t seem to know where he’s at. Vice President Kamala Harris, the laugher — I bet she can’t wait for something to happen to Biden’s health so she can embark on her very radical ideas.

To all Democrats, be careful what you wish for; it might bite you after all.
