Letter to the editor: Why the praise for Biden?

What’s happening with the Trib? We have the worst president in generations, yet your coverage makes him out to be a thoughtful and intelligent problem solver.

In my opinion, he hasn’t made a correct decision since taking office. The deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan, $3.1 trillion spent on giveaways that never occurred to him might spark inflation — which is at its highest level in 40 years. He took us from energy independence to begging Venezuela for relief from record high fuel prices. He’s soft on criminals yet ruthless with his political opponents. And don’t forget a border that’s definitely not open, yet still seems to let in anyone who wants to come.

At best, your paper downplays these disasters. When you do cover them, they’re everyone’s fault but Biden’s. If a Republican was in office, these would all be front-page headlines with the president taking full blame. As all presidents should.
