Letter to the editor: Why were protesters there, in Minnesota?

A loss of life at any time is tragic. What happened in Minnesota, a loss of two lives, is unthinkable. Watching this unfold on television brought to mind that although they have a right to “peaceably” assemble, the question remains, why were “they” there?
