My co-worker tells me she loves to hear me laugh, and I love to laugh! What isn’t a laughing matter to me is the cult-like mindset of MAGA Republicans, who continue to believe disinformation (outright lies and conspiracy theories) and worship at the feet of a wannabe dictator. Now that’s not to say that there aren’t Republicans who still believe in their conservative principles, but I can’t even fathom how he may be their nominee for the Republican Party.

I’d like to shout from the rooftop, “Quit believing the lies,” but I know it will fall on deaf ears. From the “Hollywood Access” tapes from 2005 (disgusting words from Donald Trump’s mouth) before he became president, to the sexual assault and defamation lawsuits regarding E. Jean Carroll, to the conspiracy theories about Taylor Swift — come on people, especially women, get your facts straight.

I think those in Congress who support him are cowards, afraid to speak out against him for fear of retaliation or losing their position of power. How about our democracy? That’s what’s at stake in the next presidential election. I don’t think that’s what we want for our country, where our freedoms are taken away from us.
