Regarding the article “Brighton Rehab residents, families outraged by lax oversight during outbreak”: This was what I hope is a first on this subject. Gov. Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine seem to have ignored problems since elected and appointed.

When covid-19 started and other states increased investigation of nursing homes, did they simply decide to call them on the telephone and ask, “Are you doing it right?”

Our nursing homes were the epicenter of the whole country’s covid-19 cases, but our state officials, in my opinion, decided that, hey this is a chance to get votes.

It isn’t the president’s fault we ignored this issue for years. The journalists covered this story well, and I hope they continue on it.

Wolf authorized the “commandeering” of masks, then said everyone needs to wear them. This duo allowed our most-likely-to-be-infected citizens to die. They required infected patients to be placed with weakened immune deficiency people. They need to be prosecuted.

Wolf should not be reelected. To this day, he stands by Levine, saying she is a “beacon.” How many people should be allowed to die in what I see as his desperate attempt to get elected to other offices?
