Letter to the editor: Wolf has overstepped role
It is time for we the people of Pennsylvania to speak up. Tom Wolf has overstepped his role as governor.
Our legislators, who write the laws of this state, have not written any laws for the closing of “non-essential” businesses. Our governor seems to have decided that he is the one person to decide what is essential and when businesses can reopen.
The governor does not make the laws, but should see that our laws are carried out. Therefore, any private business that should decide to reopen is not breaking any laws. If I owned a business, I would not hesitate to reopen, because no laws are being broken.
Wolf does not have the authority to keep our state shut down. It is up to we the people to decide.
