The latest directive from Gov. Tom Wolf is very disheartening to our membership. Our club followed the previous guidelines and requirements and were in the process of providing some sort of normalcy for our members to have social interaction in a safe way.

I believe that nonprofit clubs should be exempt from the recent mandates because we are not open to general population.

Our club does not offer “sit-down meals.” As with many other clubs, our kitchen has a basic menu and limited days/hours.

The financial impact is of concern. Since opening, we have limited days and hours of operation with a deficit of more than $5,000. Our employees are concerned with uncertainty of availability of work and already are working multiple jobs. Once again, we are to close club operations.

Government officials, please seek action for a nonprofit clubs exemption to Wolf’s latest mandate.
