Letter to the editor: Worst election ever

The recent election was the worst I have ever seen. We had one candidate who did not campaign much. I guess he felt that his almost 50 years in politics said all that needed to be said. The other candidate held rallies where thousands of his supporters attended.

We had a change in the way we voted; more mail-in-ballots! Why didn’t officials realize it would take additional time to count the mail-in-ballots? Why was a three-day grace period allowed for receiving the ballots? And, in case you thought mail-in-ballots were because of covid-19, think again. The mail-in-ballot law for Pennsylvania was implemented in 2019.

We are now hearing and reading about investigations into the Biden family affairs, especially those of Hunter Biden. It appears that much of our print and broadcast media deliberately kept that story from appearing. News media has the responsibility of reporting and not censoring news. Otherwise it’s called dereliction of responsibility.

I’m glad I lived during the best years of our republic, and I am sorry to see this mess left to our descendants.

Oh, and another thing: Do you think God is trying to tell us something? This last year certainly has a biblical appearance.
