Every year when I see an article about Christmas wreaths being placed on our deceased veterans’ graves, it strikes a nerve in me. This is a nationwide event. All that money should be going to our homeless veterans who need help. Those wreaths do nothing for those veterans in the ground. All it does is make the living people feel good. Memorial Day is when we honor our dead veterans.
