I am one of the many Pennsylvanians who are deeply troubled by the situation in Gaza where 2 million people face starvation and displacement amidst attacks on humanitarian aid workers.
Billions of U.S. dollars are sent as military aid to Israel, including over $10 billion in arms supplied to in the last five months alone, including $50 million of Pennsylvania tax dollars for bonds to fund what I believe to be a genocide.
The presidential primary on April 23 presents a crucial opportunity to use the democratic process to advocate for what three-quarters of Democrats and the majority of Americans are calling for: a lasting ceasefire in Gaza.
I am choosing to write in “uncommitted” on the presidential ballot line. Our votes in the Democratic primary are a crucial tool to signal the urgent need for change in the Biden administration’s approach in Gaza.
We have a unique opportunity on April 23 to make our voices heard.
You can cast your vote for “uncommitted” by simply filling in the bubble next to “write-in” under the presidential ballot line and write “Uncommitted.” It’s time to end the violence.
