Did Joe Biden leave out the word “don’t” before “yield”? This is from an official transcript of his remarks after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 16: “I told him that, unlike other countries, including Russia, we’re uniquely a product of an idea. You’ve heard me say this before, again and again, but I’m going to keep saying it. What’s that idea? We don’t derive our rights from the government; we possess them because we’re born — period. And we yield them to a government.”
Vice President Kamala Harris surely agrees and perhaps wrote those remarks with Biden’s puppet masters.
Even if he meant “don’t yield,” none of them believe this about our unalienable rights. Our founders believed that natural rights are inherent in all people by virtue of their being human, and that certain of these rights are unalienable, meaning they cannot be surrendered to government under any circumstances. The first 10 amendments are called the Bill of Rights.
