If any of you unlucky people either live or drive through the small town of Youngwood, I’m sure you’ve noticed that the roads are like minefields. They say it’s to make improvements to all the underground systems and the roads themselves.

I don’t know who the genius is who decided to blow up every street in town all at once, including side streets, making it extremely difficult to make your way around or get to a specific business that may not exist when this is all over. Youngwood may soon look like New Stanton, with many closed businesses and buildings for sale due to the brain that thought they needed a roundabout costing millions of dollars and people’s jobs and livelihoods.

Some call it progress, but at what cost? I just don’t understand why they couldn’t do sections at a time instead of just dropping a bomb on both main highways running through town and the shrapnel blasting the side streets.

If you’re one of the unlucky people who hit one of the craters left in the chicken-scratch temporary patchwork and it damages your new ride, sorry!
