Letter to the editor: Zellers best choice for judge

The voters in Magisterial District 10-01-04 have a decision to make in this year’s primary. I highly recommend Leslie Uncapher Zellers as our next district judge.

Zellers has been working for our children for many years, fighting for those who have been neglected and abused and those whose parents don’t make good decisions for themselves or their children. I know this firsthand. She has worked hard to protect the best interests of these children, and I know that she will continue to protect our children as district judge.

She has a proven track record of being a tireless advocate for victims and families. As a former assistant district attorney, Zellers will be fair but tough on crime and respectful to everyone who comes into her courtroom. She has dedicated so much of her free time to volunteering in our communities, helping students, veterans and police causes, helping to feed the hungry and improve our neighborhoods.

Our children are our future, and they need role models who lead by example. There is no one better than Zellers to fill that role. She is the district judge we need. Please vote for Leslie Uncapher Zellers on May 16.
