I have been a lawyer for 29 years, and I have worked with many lawyers and judges all across Pennsylvania. I can think of no better choice for district judge than Leslie Uncapher Zellers.
Zellers is the only candidate who can serve the district for a full six-year term as a full-time judge. Her opponent must retire halfway through the next term. It isn’t age discrimination, it is the law in Pennsylvania: All Pennsylvania judges must retire at age 75.
But Zellers is the right choice for district judge for so many reasons more than the fact that she can serve you full time for a full term. I have worked with Zellers for years, and I know her to be firm, yet reasonable. As a prosecutor, she worked to protect victims and families in Westmoreland County. She was always tough, but fair.
As an attorney, Zellers fights for her clients every day, but is always professional and respectful to everyone, even those she disagrees with. This is probably why she is supported by the police, workers and families.
I support Leslie Uncapher Zellers for district judge and ask that you give her your vote Nov. 7.
