Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi watches during the second half of an NCAA college football game against Syracuse, Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, in Pittsburgh.

Pitt added a second quarterback to its 2026 recruiting class Saturday as Corey Dailey announced a verbal commitment on X.

The 6-foot-6, 190-pound three-star recruit from Seguin High School in Texas chose the Panthers over offers from Fordham, Tulane and UTSA, among others.

Dailey was the District 13-5A offensive MVP last fall after throwing for 2,529 yards and 35 touchdowns, with six rushing TDs. He completed 62% of his passes.

Dailey joins fellow QB recruit Angelo Renda from Southlake Carroll High School in Texas as part of Pitt’s recruiting class.

He is the 16th member of Pitt’s 2026 class. Coach Pat Narduzzi put up the “Pat Signal” out on social media four times Saturday during Pitt’s second consecutive weekend of official visits, alluding to additional commitments forthcoming.
