7 Ravens starters not in uniform for regular-season finale vs. Steelers
BALTIMORE— Seven Baltimore Ravens starters are not in uniform for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
With Baltimore assured of the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, coach John Harbaugh elected to sit MVP candidate quarterback Lamar Jackson, tackle Ronnie Stanley, guard Marshall Yanda, safety Earl Thomas and defensive lineman Brandon Williams.
Running back Mark Ingram (calf) and tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) were injury-related scratches. ESPN reported that receiver Marquise Brown and cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Jimmy Smith “will likely see little to no playing time.”
Not dressed for the Steelers are cornerback Artie Burns, linebacker Tuzar Skipper, tackle Chuks Okorafor, tight end Zach Gentry and receiver Amara Darboh.
It had been previously announced that running back James Conner (quad) and center Maurkice Pouncey (knee) would miss Sunday’s game because of injury.
A win by the Steelers (8-7) would greatly aid their quest for a playoff berth.
