With major decisions pending, including possible reconfiguration of the football schedule, the ACC has postponed until further notice its Media Days event originally scheduled to be held virtually July 21-23.

At the annual event, ACC coaches, players and Commissioner John Swofford would have faced questions from reporters about the start of the college football season.

After the Big Ten and Pac-12 canceled non-conference games, Swofford issued a statement Friday, saying the ACC Board of Directors plans to make a decision about the season by the end of July.

The ACC already had delayed the start of competition in its Olympic sports until Sept. 1, at the earliest.
