Aliquippa native Dravon Askew-Henry, a safety from West Virginia, was one of 10 players that the Pittsburgh Steelers signed as undrafted free agents after the conclusion of the NFL Draft on Saturday.

Also signing contracts were punter Ian Berryman (Western Carolina) guard Garrett Brumfield (LSU), defensive end Jay Hayes (Georgia), guard Fred Johnson (Florida), running back Travon McMillan (Colorado), cornerback Alexander Myres (Houston), defensive tackle Chris Nelson (Texas), long snapper Trevor Wood (Texas A&M) and kicker Matthew Wright (Central Florida).

The moves mean the Steelers will provide competition for punter Jordan Berry and kicker Chris Boswell. The Steelers now have three kickers on the offseason roster, which might not bode well for Matt McCrane, who signed with the team for the final regular-season game and kicked three field goals against Cincinnati.

The Steelers have 93 players on their offseason roster, two above the minimum, which means roster reductions should be coming. The Steelers are one player above the 90-man limit because of international player Christian Scotland-Williamson, a tight end. Injured linebacker Ryan Shazier counts against the 91-man limit.

The Steelers had 75 players on the roster before releasing linebacker Jon Bostic. They selected nine players in the draft.
