Antonio Brown says he’s done with NFL, takes shot at Ben Roethlisberger in Twitter rant
Antonio Brown is walking away, at least according to his Sunday morning Twitter rant against the NFL. But not without a few parting shots, including one at Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
The recently unemployed wide receiver posted a tweet referring to Roethlisberger’s four-game suspension in 2010 following sexual assault allegations against him.

This came after Brown posted that he “will not be playing in the NFL anymore”
He also lamented that team owners, “can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime” and “just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months.”
And that the NFL Players Association doesn’t do anything.

Brown followed up with a tweet slamming New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, saying “Kraft got caught in the parlor AB speculations fired different strokes different folks clearly.”

Brown also tweeted, “System working effectively,” linking to a Daily Beast tweet stating that fans have threatened a writer who revealed a second sexual harassment claim against Brown.

This comes after a series of cordial tweets he posted Friday after the Patriots released him.
His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, also posted Friday that Brown is looking for another opportunity to play.

Brown was traded out of Pittsburgh and released in Oakland after his off-field antics became too much for those teams. The Patriots signed him, and days later a woman filed a civil lawsuit in Florida accusing him of rape.
He played in one game, then was released after the team learned he tried to intimidate a second woman who accused him of sexual misconduct.
Brown’s first tweet on Sunday seemed to be indicate that a fight over his $9 million signing bonus is headed for a union grievance.
