Duquesne’s men’s basketball game at George Mason, scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday in Fairfax, Va., was postponed by the Atlantic 10 because of continued covid-19 concerns within the Dukes’ program.

It is the second Duquesne game postponed or canceled this week, and the fifth this season. The Dukes also were scheduled to play Atlantic 10 opponent VCU on Sunday at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

The Dukes (7-6, 6-5) haven’t played since opening Cooper Fieldhouse on Feb. 2 with a 69-64 victory against Dayton. Previously, Duquesne played no games from Dec. 3 through Jan. 1 after a coronavirus outbreak within the team.

Atlantic 10 officials announced they will continue to work with Duquesne in an attempt to reschedule the VCU and George Mason games.

The Dukes’ next scheduled game is Feb. 17 at Davidson.
