Augi Williams’ 2 goals lift Riverhounds past Oakland

Augi Williams scored a pair of goals as the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC won 2-0 on the road at Oakland Roots SC on Sunday afternoon.

Williams moved into second all-time on the USL Championship goal-scoring list with 83 in his career.

Eric Dick made two saves and posted his 30th career shutout as the Hounds improved to 8-8-7.

The Hounds are now within two points of North Carolina FC for a spot in the Eastern Conference’s top four with seven matches remaining.

Next up for the Hounds will be a home game against Louisville City FC (16-1-6) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
