Tim Banner, the first baseball coach at Chatham University, has resigned after three seasons.
Banner, who coached previously at North Allegheny and Woodland Hills, posted a 20-61 career record, 5-37 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
Banner was hired in 2014, and his first team was in 2015-16.
Their first conference win was April 28, 2018 against Westminster and the program’s first win was March 8, 2017 against Valley Forge.
Chatham athletic director Leonard Trevino thanked Banner for laying the groundwork of the baseball program, saying, “we are excited for the future of this team.“
Chatham has begun a nationwide search for a new head coach.
