Pittsburgh Steelers running back Benny Snell Jr. and wide receiver James Washington leave the field after last season’s finale, a loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are heavy favorites to finish ahead of the Steelers again this seaosn.

There are myriad futures betting options available for those who follow the NFL, from wagering on the Super Bowl winner to each division’s champion to over/under individual team wins. Another is betting on what place a team will finish in its division.

At least one site believes it is more likely the Pittsburgh Steelers place third in the AFC North than they are to win it.

Odds released by BetOnline gave 7-to-4 odds for the Steelers to place second this season (assuming it is played, with the world currently grappling with the coronavirus pandemic). BetOnline offered the same odds for the Steelers finishing fourth. (The line means a $4 wager will return $7 in winnings).

The Steelers are at 7-to-2 to win the AFC North and 11-to-2 to finish last.

The Baltimore Ravens are heavy favorites to place first for the third consecutive season (1-to-2), and the Cincinnati Bengals have the biggest “sure-thing” odds on the AFC North board: 1-to-3 to finish last.
