A game-worn Jack Lambert jersey from the 1977 season is the highlight of Steelers memorabilia being auctioned on Lelands.com as part of its Spring Classic 2020 Collection.

Last spring, a jersey worn by Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Lambert in a 1982 game was auctioned off for more than $50,000.

Another Lambert jersey, this one from the 1977 season, is on the block this year, and it looks like some late bidding will be required to top that figure.

As of Wednesday morning, a white road jersey sported by Lambert in the ’77 season had a high bid of $28,533, making it the most attractive piece of memorabilia in a group of Steelers merchandise being auctioned at Lelands.com.

Bidding began May 17 and ends at 11 p.m. Friday.

A portion of the proceeds from all Steelers items on the site will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.

Bidding on the Lambert jersey began at $10,000, and 12 bids already have been submitted.

Among the other Steelers items in Lelands’ Spring Classic 2020 are:

• A 1976 game-worn Mel Blount jersey has received a high bid of $11,789.

• A white road jersey worn by new Pro Football Hall of Fame member Troy Polamalu during the 2004 season is listed at $9,743.

• A jersey worn by John Stallworth in 1974, his rookie season, has received a top bid of $9,414.

• A jersey worn in 2001 by Jerome Bettis when he surpassed 10,000 career rushing yards has reached $7,780 in bidding.

In addition, Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Ham has a dozen items listed in a separate collection. The signature item is a No. 33 helmet that he wore at Penn State. The helmet, which is autographed by Ham, has a high bid of $4,281.
