ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Linebacker Tyrel Dodson and cornerback Rasul Douglas were designated as inactive by the Buffalo Bills for Monday’s playoff game, making for four starters who are out against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Bills on Friday announced that receiver Gabe Davis (knee) and safety Taylor Rapp (calf) would miss the wild-card round game at snow-blanketed Highmark Stadium. Douglas (knee) and Dodson (shoulder) were listed as questionable on the status report released Friday.

The Steelers have only one player from the active roster out because of health-related reasons, but he’s a big one: NFL sacks champion T.J. Watt suffered a knee injury during the Jan. 6 regular-season finale.

Announced as Steelers’ healthy scratches were cornerback Darius Rush, safety Elijah Riley, inside linebacker Blake Martinez, offensive tackle Dylan Cook and defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal.

Last season’s third-round pick, Leal has been passed on the depth chart by Isaiahh Loudermilk and has been designated inactive for the fourth consecutive game.

Mitch Trubisky is in uniform as the Steelers’ “emergency” No. 3 quarterback against the Bills, whose healthy scratches are defensive end Kingsley Jonathan, offensive lineman Alec Anderson and defensive tackle Poona Ford.
