The Pittsburgh Steelers lost center Patrick Morris on a waiver claim to the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, according to the NFL transactions report.

In Denver, he will be reunited with Mike Munchak, the veteran offensive line coach who held the same position with the Steelers until this season.

Morris was waived by the Steelers on Monday when All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey was added to the active roster after serving his two-game suspension for fighting with Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

Morris, 24, was signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of TCU in 2018. He spent most of the next two seasons on the practice squad and was activated when Pouncey began serving his suspension.

Morris was active for the Steelers’ games against Cincinnati and Cleveland, but he did not get any playing time.
