Central Valley graduate Seairra Barrett, a redshirt senior forward on the Cal (Pa.) women’s basketball team, is a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division II All-America team.

The team was announced Monday evening. Barrett, who missed last season because of injury, was one of 10 players in the country to receive the recognition in a vote of the WBCA All-America selection committee.

Barrett earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mention honors as a junior after the 2016-17 season. She is the fifth player in the history of the Cal program to earn multiple WBCA All-America selections.

Barrett ranked in the top 15 in the country in scoring at 21.2 points a game. Her 273 field goals and 554 field goals attempted ranked in the top 10 nationally.

She led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference with 8.7 rebounds a game and was third in the conference with 2.69 steals a contest.

Barrett ranks eighth among active NCAA Division II players with 1,961 points, fifth-most in program history.

Her 679 points this season was the second-highest total for a Vulcans player in a single season.

Barrett, a two-time PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year, surpassed the 1,000-rebound milestone this season and finished with 260 career steals.

Cal finished its season 26-6 overall and made it to the NCAA Atlantic Regional final before falling 68-60 to PSAC rival IUP.
