Seton Hill junior outside hitter Viktoria Farian was named the PSAC Southwest Division Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
Farian, the reigning conference athlete of the year, had 82 kills, 55 digs and a double-double across four matches, including a career-best 28 kills against Findlay.
Point Park: Redshirt senior Maria Ferragonio (Norwin), a transfer from Eastern Kentucky, has 72 kills, 14 assists and 14 service aces for the Pioneers. She had 24 assists, 11 digs, four blocks and two aces in a 3-0 victory over Carlow.

Women’s cross country
Seton Hill: After a third-place in the Lock Haven Invitational, the Griffins remained at No. 3 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Atlantic Regional rankings.
Westmoreland CC: The Wolfpack moved into the No. 5 spot in the NJCAA Division III national rankings. WCCC won the season-opening Wolfpack Invitational and finished 10th at the Saint Vincent Bearcat Invitational.
Harper (Ill.), Suffolk County C.C. (N.Y.), F.I.T. (N.Y.), and Lorain County C.C. (Ohio) round out the top 5.

Men’s golf
Notre Dame: Freshman Palmer Jackson (Franklin Regional) posted rounds of 73, 71 and 72 to finish 11th at the Inverness Intercollegiate. The Irish finished third after back-to-back wins to open the fall season.
West Virginia: Junior Mark Goetz (The Kiski School/Greensburg) finished tied for 29th at one-over-par 211 at the Old Town Club Collegiate Invitational in North Carolina. Goetz carded rounds of 67, 71 and 73. WVU tied for third in the low-scoring event with a 12-under team score.
