LAS VEGAS – Cornerback Desmond King will be active for the first time since joining the Pittsburgh Steelers.

King, who signed with the team at the end of training camp after being released by the Los Angeles Chargers, will be in uniform Sunday night when the Steelers face the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.

King was inactive for games against the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns.

While the Steelers will have extra help in the secondary with King, a seven-year veteran, active, they will be short-handed at wide receiver. Gunner Olszewski already was ruled out because of a concussion, but the Steelers also de-activated wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick, meaning they will have only four receivers available.

Other players inactive are tackle Dylan Cook, nose tackle Breiden Fehoko and running back Godwin Igwebuike, who recently was signed off Atlanta’s practice squad. Running back Qadree Ollison, promoted from the practice squad Saturday, is active.

Mason Rudolph will serve as the No. 3 quarterback.
