Get ready to see the best hidden-ball trick of all time.

A tip of the cap to the crew at Deadspin for referencing the inspiration for the maneuver.

Do you remember the baseball movie “Little Big League?

Pfft! That was nothing. First of all, it was the middle of a game.

Second, it wasn’t a game to win a Super Regional.

Third, it was a movie.

In real life, I give you the Trine Thunder softball team’s hidden-ball trick to advance to the Division III Women’s Softball World Series.

Did you miss it? Watch it again.

Keep an eye on the pitcher. She does the honors herself instead of throwing to second base.

I give the rest of the team a ton of credit here. Supreme acting skills. Total commitment to the bit. High marks all around.

The outfielders diving for the ball and backing up each other was the coup de gras.

I can’t even blame the base runner from Geneseo. “Little Big League” came out way back in 1994. Was she even born yet?

And if Ken Griffey Jr. can get fooled, well, she’s in elite company.
