Pitt’s Darrin Hall leaves Va. Tech’s Jovonn Quillen in his wake in the first half Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Heinz Field.

Darrin Hall is taking a tour of the AFC North.

The Cincinnati Bengals claimed the former Pitt running back off waivers Tuesday, a day after he was released by the Cleveland Browns.

Hall, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in late April. He rushed for 2,189 yards during his Pitt career, including 1,144 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior. His 7.5 yards-per-carry average as a senior broke Tony Dorsett’s Pitt record for a 1,000-yard season.
