Duquesne and coach Keith Dambrot reached four historic milestones Saturday in a 93-67 victory against George Washington at Charles E. Smith Center in Washington D.C.

• The 26-point margin of victory was Duquesne’s largest in an Atlantic 10 road game, dropping George Washington to 11-12, 5-5.

• The Dukes’ 28-0 run over 10 minutes in the first half was the most decisive in six seasons under Dambrot.

• The 30-point halftime margin (50-20) was Duquesne’s largest in an A-10 game and seventh-largest in the post-World War II era. The Dukes’ largest lead was 59-22 with 16 minutes, 33 seconds left in the second half.

• The victory was Dambrot’s 499th in his 25-year career. That includes 40 at Tiffin, 48 at Ashland, 20 at Central Michigan, 305 at Akron and 86 at Duquesne. When Duquesne welcomes George Mason to Cooper Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Dambrot can become the 127th coach in college basketball history with 500 victories.

Dae Dae Grant led Duquesne (15-8, 5-5) with 18 points, and Quincy McGriff hit four of his five 3-pointers and added a career-high 17 points. Joe Reece had 13 points, five assists and two blocks, and Tre Williams finished with 12 points.

The Dukes’ 17 3-pointers from seven players were one short of the school record.
