Shown during rookie minicamp in May, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Darnell Washington missed Thursday’s practice and was listed as having a knee injury.

Rookie tight end Darnell Washington was a new addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers official injury report Thursday, not taking part in practice.

Washington was listed on the league-mandated report as having a knee injury. It was the third time over the past five Steelers practices dating to last week that Washington did not participate fully.

Starting right guard James Daniels (groin) and punter Pressley Harvin III (hamstring) were the only other players on the active roster who did not practice Thursday. Neither practiced Wednesday, either.

Four others who had sat out Wednesday’s practice, however, returned for Thursday’s session: receiver Allen Robinson, starting right tackle Chuks Okorafor, tight end Connor Heyward and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi.

Ogunjobi (foot) practiced on a limited basis Thursday but is not expected to miss any game time. Heyward (ankle) and Okorafor (elbow) were full participants Thursday, and Robinson (ankle) was limited.

Additionally, special-teams captain Miles Killebrew (knee) was upgraded from limited Wednesday to full Thursday, and receiver Gunner Olszewski was a full participant for a second consecutive day as he clears NFL concussion protocol.

The Steelers will have their final full practice of the week Friday in advance of Sunday’s scheduled game at the Houston Texans.
