Veteran edge defender Markus Golden, safety Damontae Kazee and rookie tight end Darnell Washington did not practice Wednesday, according to the injury report released by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Kazee was listed as having a calf injury, and Washington and Golden were listed as having a knee ailment four days prior to a scheduled game at the Las Vegas Raiders. None of those three was cited as having an injury by coach Mike Tomlin postgame nor during his weekly news conference Tuesday.
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (chest) and receiver/returner Gunner Olszewski (concussion) were known to have suffered injuries during Monday night’s win against the Cleveland Browns. Fitzpatrick was in the locker room Wednesday. He had been taken to a hospital for evaluation after his injury.
Veteran defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi also sat out practice, listed because of a foot injury that long has limited his practice participation.
Given veteran’s days off were cornerback Patrick Peterson and guard Isaac Seumalo.
