Spring football is in the air at West Virginia, and the Mountaineers will host their annual Gold-Blue Spring Game at 1 p.m. April 24, at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Because of ongoing covid-19 protocols in place, and for the safety of the spectators, the WVU athletic department announced that attendance allowances and ticket information will be released at a later date.

Information on parking, online streaming and the television broadcast of the game also will be released in the coming weeks.

WVU concluded its 2020 season 6-4 overall and 4-4 in Big 12 Conference play. The Mountaineers scored a 24-21 victory over Army in the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 31.

The 2021 season kicks off at longtime nonconference rival Maryland on Sept. 4. Additional nonconference games against Long Island and Virginia Tech follow and lead into the Big 12 opener at Oklahoma on Sept. 25.
