Pittsburgh Steelers guard David DeCastro (66) trains at Heinz Field during the Steelers 2020 training camp, Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020.

With one practice remaining until the end of training camp, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to work without All-Pro right guard David DeCastro.

DeCastro missed another practice Thursday because of an unspecified lower body injury. He hasn’t practiced since leaving early in the team’s scrimmage Friday night. DeCastro also missed the first week of padded practices.

The Steelers conclude camp Friday, then must reduce the roster to 53 players by 4 p.m. Saturday. On Monday, they will resume practicing for the Sept. 14 season opener at the New York Giants.

Entering his ninth NFL season, DeCastro has missed only two games due to injury. A broken hand sustained in the 2018 season opener led to that absence, ending a streak of 72 starts.

The Steelers signed veteran Stefen Wisniewski in the offseason to provide insurance on the interior of the offensive line. Rookie fourth-rounder Kevin Dotson is considered a future starter at guard.

Wisniewski was limited in practice Thursday after missing the previous day. Center Maurkice Pouncey was given the day off, providing more practice reps for center J.C. Hassenauer.

Cornerback Cam Sutton, who left practice early Wednesday, did not practice. He rode a stationary bike for much of the workout. Coach Mike Tomlin said Sutton should return Friday.

Long snapper Kameron Canaday (knee) was a partial participant, and rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool did not practice, but no reason was provided.
