After a season of covid-19 cancellations, Duquesne has begun to assemble its 2021-22 basketball schedule, and it will include a trip to the Virgin Islands.

The Dukes will play Colonial Athletic Association regular season co-champion Northeastern on Nov. 19 in the first round of the eight-team 2021 Paradise Jam. The tournament will consist of three games for each team at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center in St. Thomas.

Duquesne and Northeastern are paired with Southern Illinois and Colorado on one side of the bracket. Bradley, Brown, Colorado State and Creighton comprise the other side.

The four losers will play Nov. 20, with the winners advancing to games Nov. 21. There will be four more games Nov. 22, concluding with the championship.

All games will be streamed on the ESPN3 and ESPN+ platforms.
