Former Florida Gators player development assistant Jordan Talley was named an assistant coach with the Duquesne men’s basketball program.

The Duquesne men’s basketball program added a national champion to its coaching staff.

Head coach Dru Joyce III announced Friday the hiring of Jordan Talley from 2025 national champion Florida as assistant coach.

Talley has spent the past three seasons as player development assistant with the Gators, who were 76-33 (34-20 SEC) during his tenure and defeated top-seeded Houston in the title game in April.

“We’re excited to add Jordan to our program,” Joyce III said. “When you have the opportunity to spend time with Coach Talley, you immediately know why he’s been successful throughout his coaching journey. He operates with integrity and moves with purpose. The knowledge and infectious energy he provides will resonate with our players, staff, Duquesne University and the Pittsburgh community.”

Before joining the Gators, Talley spent two seasons as a grad assistant at James Madison, where he earned a master’s in adult education and human resources development. He earned his undergrad at Southeastern, where he averaged 7.4 points and 2.3 rebounds as a senior.

“My purpose is simple — to serve our student-athletes, coaches and this university at the highest level possible,” Talley said. “I truly believe we have all the tools we need to achieve great success, and I’m committed to helping us reach our full potential.”

RMU adds Oddo to staff

Robert Morris men’s basketball coach Andy Toole announced last week the addition of assistant coach Keith Oddo to his staff.

Oddo spent the past two seasons at IU Indy, a Horizon League rival. With IU Indy, he worked with two of the league’s top scorers in Paul Zilinskas and Jarvis Walker.

He also coached at Bridgewater College and was a grad assistant at Akron.

Oddo played at Louisville, earning a scholarship after arriving as a walk-on. He later earned a master’s in sport science and coaching from Akron.
