Lauren Wasylson hit three free throws with 29 seconds left to send the game into overtime, then hit two more late in OT as the Duquesne women advanced in the WNIT with a 69-65 win over Monmouth on Monday .
Amaya Hamilton’s layup with 21 seconds left in OT broke a 65-65 tie.
Megan McConnell (Chartiers Valley) led the Dukes (20-12) with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Precious Johnson added 15 points and seven rebounds.
Duquesne will face Purdue in the third round Thursday.
