Fans hold up signs in support of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin before a game against the New England Patriots in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Upon further review, EA Sports is eliminating a CPR celebration feature from its Madden NFL 23 video game.

In light of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin’s recent injury, the gaming company is taking steps to alter the game just days after the McKees Rocks native was discharged from a Cincinnati hospital, TMZ reported.

Hamlin, a former Pitt football star, went into cardiac arrest during a “Monday Night Football” game on Jan. 2 that required his heartbeat to be restored on the field.

Hamlin returned to western New York and was listed in stable condition at Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute, the Associated Press reported.
