Early lines say Steelers favored in 10 games, underdogs in 6; Ravens favored in all 16

Now that the NFL scheduled is set, the game-by-game betting lines are out. By the odds, the Pittsburgh Steelers are projected to go 10-6.

The Steelers are favored in 10 of their 16 scheduled games in 2020, according to BetOnline.ag. The Steelers are underdogs in road games at the Tennessee Titans (Week 4), Baltimore Ravens (Week 7), Dallas Cowboys (Week 9), Buffalo Bills (Week 14) and Cleveland Browns (Week 17). They also are preseason home underdogs (2 ½ points) for their Thanksgiving Day home game against AFC North rival Baltimore.

Of the games the Steelers are not favored in, none have them as bigger than a field-goal underdog (to the Cowboys) except for being seven-point dogs at the Ravens.

Baltimore is the lone team in the NFL that is favored to win all of its games, per Bet Online.

Of the games the Steelers are favored to win, the only ones in which they are currently giving fewer than three points are home games against the Philadelphia Eagles (1 ½ points in Week 5) and Indianapolis Colts (2 ½ points in Week 16).

The games the Steelers are the biggest favorites in are at home against the Cincinnati Bengals (9 ½ points in Week 10) and Washington Redskins (10 points in Week 14).

The Bengals at this juncture are only favored in one of their games (at home to Jacksonville), though one is listed as s push (at home to the New York Giants). By the odds, the Browns are pegged at 10-5-1.

The Jaguars are oddsmakers’ underdogs for all 16 of their games.

Overall across the league, home teams are favored in 64.8% of games, and road teams are favored 28.9% of the time (the rest are pick’ems).
