ESPN signs Penn State grad Katie Feeney to create social media, digital content
Sports and lifestyle influencer Katie Feeney is headed to ESPN.
A Penn State University grad, Feeney, 22, will be a sports and lifestyle content creator for the sports giant.
She will serve as a weekly contributor on “College Gameday,” “Sunday NFL Countdown” and “Monday Night Countdown,” as well as the daily lead of “SportsCenter” on Snapchat, according to the announcement.
Feeney, who grew up in Maryland outside of Washington, D.C., has more than 14 million followers across her social media platforms.
In her first post following the announcement, she said:
“What once felt like a dream is now my reality. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and supported me along the way. Excited to take you all along this next chapter❤️❤️.”
