Pitt will play at least three of its 12 regular-season games under the lights after ESPN announced Thursday it will televise Panthers games nationally Oct. 18 (Friday) and Nov. 14 (Thursday).

Pitt will play at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome on Oct. 18 with a 7 p.m. kickoff and against North Carolina on Nov. 14 with an 8 p.m. kickoff at Heinz Field.

ACC teams are playing games on seven Fridays this season.

The Panthers’ opener Aug. 31 against Virginia will be telecast by the newly formed ACC Network, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The following week, Pitt will be part of an ACC Network quadruple-header when it plays host to Ohio in a non-conference game at 11 a.m. Sept. 7.
