Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes leaves the game after being injured against the Denver Broncos during the first half of an NFL football game, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, in Denver.

There’s no doubt what the major talking point is in fantasy football this week.

Quarterbacks. Quarterbacks. Quarterbacks.

That discussion occupies the bulk of this week’s fantasy sports podcast with Jeff Erickson of Rotowire.

Yup. I’m one of those people. I’ve got Patrick Mahomes on my team. I’m replacing him with Matt Stafford. Is that good enough?

I think so. We’ll ask Jeff. He gives us some other names to consider as well.

We also talk about Thursday night’s Washington Redskins-Minnesota Vikings matchup. A bunch of Minnesota players should be able to put up big numbers against that Washington defense, particularly on the ground.

Jeff also has an interesting look at some “fancy stats” that may be misleading some fantasy owners of late. We tackle that debate, too.

Plus the NBA regular season and World Series are underway. Basketball leagues and daily fantasy players are going to be interested in those angles.
