INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 17-18) was tripped up by Louisville (Reds), 6-5. DH Canaan Smith-Njigba (.270) went 2 for 3 with his first homer, three runs scored and two walks. 2B Liover Peguero (.297) went 2 for 5 with a double and a run scored. C Henry Davis (.188) went 1 for 3 with an RBI and two walks. 3B Malcom Nunez (.270) went 2 for 4 with a walk. CF Gilberto Celestino (.283) went 1 for 4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. RF Matt Fraizer (.500) went 2 for 4.RHP JC Flowers (8.10) started and allowed four runs on four hits in two innings. RHP Chris Gau (1.80) followed with four scoreless innings. RHP Ben Heller (1-1, 5.19) gave up two runs on two hits in two innings to suffer the loss.

Next: Sunday at Louisville (Reds), 1:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 7-24) lost 7-3 to Somerset (Yankees). RHP Bubba Chandler (1-2, 4.13) started and was touched up for four runs on four hits, including a homer, in 3⅔ innings. He walked three and struck out six. RHP Grant Ford (5.65) came on and allowed one run on four hits in 1⅓ innings. RHP Jack Carey finished up, giving up two runs on four hits in two innings. He fanned four. The Curve were held to five hits. RF Joe Perez (.271) went 2 for 4 with a triple and a run scored. C Carter Bins (.500) went 1 for 2 with his first homer and a walk.

Next: Sunday vs. Somerset (Yankees), doubleheader, noon

GREENSBORO (High-A, 17-14) rallied for a 6-4 win over Bowling Green (Rays) in 11 innings. CF Lonnie White Jr. (.187) tied the game with his sixth homer in the top of the ninth. DH Hudson Head (.241) hit the go-ahead RBI single in the 11th. LF Luke Brown (.164) went 1 for 3 with his first homer and his fifth stolen base. 2B Termarr Johnson (.161) went 0 for 4 with two walks. LHP Hunter Barco (1.65) started and went five innings, allowing one hit, striking out three and walking none. RHP Emmanuel Chapman (2.03) pitched a scoreless 10th and 11th to earn the win. He gave up one hit and fanned three.

Next: Sunday at Bowling Green (Rays), 2:05 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 14-18) got past St. Lucie (Mets), 4-3. 1B Omar Alfonzo (.250) went 1 for 2 with an RBI and two walks. 2B Keiner Delgado (.273) went 1 for 4 with a double and a run scored. RHP Khristian Curtis (5.40) started and gave up three runs on five hits, including two homers, in 4⅓ innings. The bullpen took over from there. LHP Yoldin De La Paz (4-0, 1.47) went 2⅔ scoreless to earn the win, allowing one hit and no walks and striking out three. LHP Magdiel Cotto (2.25) went two scoreless, giving up two hits and striking out two to earn his first save.
